The Hatton Garden Job

In April 2015, the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Company, an underground safe deposit facility in London's Hatton Garden area, was burgled by 4 elderly men. With the stolen property having a value of up to £200 million, the incident has been called the "largest burglary in English history".

Critics broadly regarded the film as a slow, clichéd and aggressively derivative true-crime heist with an unconvincing retro-crime style.

• The gang targets an underground Hatton Garden safe deposit facility containing an estimated £200 million.
• The film dramatizes the notorious Hatton Garden burglary and is explicitly identified as based on a true story.
• The gang consists primarily of old-timer criminals attempting one major final-scale burglary.
• Critical reception repeatedly characterizes the film as nostalgic and as a Guy Ritchie pastiche, with a retro-funk presentation.

• The Hatton Garden Jobshared true-crime burglary premise, British criminal milieu, and ensemble heist structure
• We Still Steal the Old Wayshared older-criminal ensemble, comic crime tone, and low-stakes nostalgia around a robbery
• The Bank Jobshared British heist conventions, criminal ensemble dynamics, and heightened stylistic energy
• The King of Thievesshared robbery planning, crime-thriller tension, and emphasis on aging professional criminals
