Dias Perfeitos

Téo, a solitary medical student burdened by the care of his paraplegic mother, becomes infatuated with Clarice, an aspiring screenwriter he meets at a barbecue. When she rejects his advances, he resorts to an extreme measure: drugging and kidnapping her. He forces Clarice—sedated and trapped as his passenger—on a road trip through the very locations she scripted in her screenplay, attempting to awaken her love through repetition and manipulation.

Perfect Days (2025) is a Brazilian crime thriller miniseries created by Cláudia Jouvin and Raphael Montes for Globoplay. Across eight 45-minute episodes, the series follows Téo, a solitary medical student weighed down by caring for his paraplegic mother, played by Jaffar Bambirra. He becomes infatuated with Clarice, an aspiring screenwriter played by Julia Dalavia, whom he meets at a barbecue. When she rejects him, he drugs and kidnaps her, then drives her, sedated and trapped in his passenger seat, along the exact locations she scripted in her screenplay. His goal is to awaken her love through repetition and manipulation, while the tension lies in every stop where she might resist, escape or be recognized. Supporting characters, including Laura (Julianna Gerais), Breno (Elzio Vieira) and Patrícia (Débora Bloch), widen the circle of people searching for the pair. The tone is tense, claustrophobic and unsettling, with a slow dread built from intimate confinement rather than spectacle. Its mix of psychological obsession and crime drama recalls the darker corners of You and the Brazilian thriller tradition. Fans of obsessive captor stories and intimate psychological thrillers will find much to chew on in this self-contained, single-season run that tells one continuous story from start to finish.
