Superstore

A hilarious workplace comedy about a unique family of employees at a super-sized mega store. From the bright-eyed newbies and the seen-it-all veterans to the clueless summer hires and the in-it-for-life managers, together they hilariously tackle the day-to-day grind of rabid bargain hunters, riot-causing sales and nap-worthy training sessions.

Superstore (2015-2021) is an American multi-camera workplace sitcom created by Justin Spitzer for NBC. America Ferrera plays Amy Dubanowski, a driven employee at a sprawling big box store, alongside Ben Feldman as Jonah Simms, Lauren Ash as Dina Fox, and Mark McKinney as Glenn Sturgis, the store's manager. The engine of the show is the daily grind of a mismatched crew trying to keep the floor running while rabid bargain hunters, riot-causing sales and tedious mandatory training sessions test their patience. Each episode is built from short, self-contained comic set pieces, with the ensemble's shifting alliances and workplace friendships carrying the ongoing thread across six seasons. Its tone is warm, breezy and affectionate, finding humor in the everyday absurdity of retail life without sneering at the people who work there. The show offers a sincere sense of belonging, as newcomers and veterans alike become a family in an unglamorous setting. Fans of Parks and Recreation, The Office and Brooklyn Nine-Nine will find the same mix of ensemble chemistry, light satire and heartfelt camaraderie.

Audiences broadly rate Superstore as a warm, consistently funny workplace comedy with an ensemble that grows stronger across its run.
