Super Dragon Ball Heroes

Trunks returns from the future to train with Goku and Vegeta. However, it disappears without warning. Then the mysterious Fu bursts in, telling them that Trunks has been imprisoned in the Prison Planet, a mysterious complex in an unknown place in the universes. The group seeks the dragon balls to free Trunks, but an endless battle awaits them! Will Goku and the others rescue Trunks and escape the Prison Planet?

Super Dragon Ball Heroes (2018-2024) is a Japanese animated shonen action series created as a spin-off of the Dragon Ball franchise and produced by Toei Animation for Fuji TV. Trunks disappears from the future just as he arrives to train with Goku (Masako Nozawa) and Vegeta (Ryo Horikawa), and the group, joined by the mysterious Fu (Kappei Yamaguchi), sets out to gather the dragon balls and free him from the Prison Planet, a complex hidden in an unknown corner of the universes. The engine is relentless: each arc pits the heroes against rival fighters and escalating power levels, and the episodes are built around training, tournament-style clashes and the search for a way out. Across six seasons the story stays one continuing quest, with a Dragon Ball-style sense of ever-stronger opponents and heroic resolve. The tone is breathless and kinetic, a bright, earnest blend of fast combat and camaraderie. Fans of Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball Z and Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V will find resonance in its power-up spectacle and video-game-inspired battles, and it suits viewers who want high-energy fights without much dread.

Audience reception is mixed, with later seasons rated notably higher than the early run.
