Autumn in My Heart

Two men and two women, their relationship begins in tragic fates, and it grows into love, agony, and parting.

Autumn in My Heart (2000) is a South Korean romance drama created by Oh Soo Yun for KBS2. Its single season of sixteen seventy-minute episodes follows Yoon Jun-seo (Song Seung-heon) and Yoon Eun-seo, played by Song Hye-kyo, as their relationship begins under the weight of tragic circumstances and slowly grows into deep love. Won Bin plays Han Tae-seok, and Han Chae-young plays Choi Sin-ae, two more characters whose feelings and histories tangle with the central pair. The engine of the story is the push and pull between devotion and fate: each episode turns on misunderstandings, family pressures, and the emotional cost of wanting someone who may not be free to stay. Told as a complete, self-contained run, the series builds through sorrow, longing, and the pain of parting, with an autumnal palette and sentimental music shaping its wistful atmosphere. Its tone is earnest and tearful, a classic Korean melodrama where feeling is foregrounded over plot twists. Fans of Winter Sonata, Boys Over Flowers and Crash Landing on You will find the same blend of romantic yearning and heartbreak that defined early two-thousands Korean television.

• Winter Sonatashared melancholic romance, tragic first love, and generational heartbreak
• Boys Over Flowersshared earnest melodrama built on love triangles and separated lovers
• Crash Landing on Youshared tearful romantic drama around sacrifice and lost love
